The Atelier opened in March 2026, two blocks from Avenue B. A tailor works on the premises.

How much do alterations cost?
$10 to $150 and above. A hem is at the lower end; reconstructing a tailored jacket is at the upper end. The price is set at the fitting.
Is an appointment required?
Telephone 212-529-8886 first. The Atelier is open Monday to Wednesday and Friday 8am to 7pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 8pm, and closed Thursday.
Are wedding dresses and suits altered?
Yes. Bridal and formalwear are fitted at the Atelier. Bring the shoes to be worn with the garment; the hem depends on them.
Can a garment be cleaned and altered in one visit?
Yes. Alterations and dry cleaning are received at the same counter.
